3.50 Appldr Keys Dumped - Gran Turismo 5 Now Able to be Decrypted

Well, it didn't take long, a dev named netkas, has extracted the 3.50 Appldr keys. So what does this mean for end users? Appldr, is the loader, that handles decrypting PS3 game executables (self/eboot.bin files). With the 3.50 Appldr keys, games such as Gran Turismo 5 can now be decrypted.

Previously, the game was unplayable on jailbroken machines, due to the fact that 3.41 did not possess the keys, to decrypt the game. It may now be possible to play the game. The first step would be to try decrypting the EBOOT.BIN and using the decrypted version on 3.41 firmware. However, this is still speculation, as the game may have other issues on lower firmware.
