In 1.06 we switched some game downloads from http to https. Unfortunately it seems that https download from Amazon S3 is blocked or otherwise malfunctioning for players on China Unicom and Telecom.
You can try contacting China Unicom requesting that they allow traffic to https://s3.amazonaws.com/, and we will investigate workarounds to restore connectivity for China.
