我想知道psvr只能用在ps4上,nasa怎么用?
nasa怎么用还用给你解释?
Although we predominantly cover Playstation VR from a gaming perspective, it cannot be ignored that the new generation of VR platforms have a wide range of potential applications beyond that of mere entertainment.
NASA is one organisation that clearly thinks so. Road to VR have recently reported that NASA and Sony have created a VR demo called Mighty Morphenaut, an application that enables NASA operatives to control Robonaut 2, a robot designed to mimic human movement from the waist up.
The simulated experience takes place in a space shuttle. Users control the robot as they take it through tasks similar to those that are carried out on the International Space Station (ISS).
This has very real application for the future of space exploration. NASA’s has already demonstrated its plans to use humanoid robots in space. The first Robonaut was sent to the ISS in 2011, with NASA operators being able to remotely carry out simple, repetitive, or especially dangerous tasks using the machines.
With Sony assisting in the development of the technology, it is clear that NASA is looking to improve the methods of controlling the robots from a distance.
The latest demo runs on PS4 and uses the PlayStation VR with the Move controllers. |
