New firmwares & upgrade tool released!

We updated our firmware collection for PSJailbreaker, including original PSJailbreak code and open-source payloads. Get the best of both worlds!

It's now possible to emulate BD discs without any disc in the drive, thanks to Hermes PSGroove patch.

The following firmwares are now included in the update archive. Please check Downloads Page to get the file.

? * Firmware-HermesPSGroove.bkr : PSGroove Hermes patch
? * Firmware-PSJailbreaker_v1.0.bkr : Original PSJailbreak payload
? * Firmware-OpenPSJailbreaker.bkr : OpenPSJailbreak payload
? * Firmware-PSGroove.bkr : PSGroove 1.0 payload
? * Firmware-Blank.bkr : Empty payload (to ship it blank)

It's now possible to flash a binary payload directly (such as PSGroove's port1_config_descriptor.bin). The software will automatically detect if you're flashing a whole firmware or just the payload, in which case it will use the default firmware. Just make sure your payload file is exactly 3840 bytes long.

Remember: There's NO DRIVER TO INSTALL to upgrade PSJailbreaker unlike other clones. Our upgrade program is LIGHTWEIGHT (less than 30KB, no installation necessary) and FAST (only a couple of seconds needed to upgrade the chip!).

Update Instructions
===================

1. Gently open USB key and plug in the provided jumper (for sample units without jumper look at our site)
2. Close the USB key, connect it to PC. The light should turn red, green, red and stay green
3. Drag & drop the firmware file over the upgrader executable. Follow on screen instructions
4. Remove USB key from PC and remove the upgrade jumper
